Neighborhood: The apartment is located in a tree lined street. Grocery, pharmacy, bank and restaurant are nearby. Myrtle Avenue (movie theater and post office), Fresh Pond Road and Forest Avenue are the main shopping areas where most of the amenities are located. Once a German and Italian enclave, its newer immigrants are mostly from Eastern Europe (especially Poland) and Latin America. This neighborhood, Ridgewood, is one of the most attractive urban neighborhoods of Queens, New York. Most of its streets are narrow two-lane roads with parking lanes and buildings range from six-family buildings to two-family and single-family row houses. There are more official historic districts in Ridgewood than anywhere else in Queens. A must-see is Stockholm Street, the only brick-paved block. Further more, the Greater Ridgewood Historical Society has its headquarters in the Vander Ende-Onderdonk House, a Dutch colonial farmhouse built in 1709 and one of the oldest structures in Queens.

: Il était très bien sur beaucoup de points, mais sa situation dans une rue passante rendait le sommeil difficile. Il serait juste de le signaler dans son descriptif. "
